El Nido Family Centers offers innovative programs and services for children, youth and families in some of the most challenging and under-served neighborhoods across Los Angeles county. Latino Resource Organization
The mission is to provide a milieu of safety-net services that offer support to low-income families. A service delivery that strives towards the strengthening of family, and one that progressively mobilizes the quality of life. At its inception, LRO was an information and resource center for Spanish-speaking residents of Santa Monica. Through the 80’s the agency expanded its service area to include the Greater West Los Angeles areas and including Westchester and Culver City. Programs also expanded to include Case Management services, Senior Services, and in 1993 there was an addition to the comprehensive Immigration and Naturalization Service Program and an Environmental Education Program. In 1997, LRO moved its operation to Venice, CA.

Prevención del Suicidio Nacional (National Suicide Prevention Lifeline)
Provides free, 24/7 confidential support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress through a hotline. The website provides resources and information on how to help yourself and someone else in a crisis. You can find a therapist/support group, information on building and using a support network, make a safety plan, and find specific crisis resources for coping during community unrest, emotional wellbeing during the COVID-19 outbreak, youth, disaster survivors, Native Americans, Veterans, Loss Survivors, LGBTQ+, suicide attempt survivors, deaf and hard of hearing/hearing loss, and Spanish speaking resources.
