Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC)

The Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC) helps people living with disabilities maintain self-sufficient and productive lives through non-residential peer support services and training programs We work together with persons living with any type of disability, including: developmental, hearing, learning, mobility impaired, physical, psychiatric, substance abuse, traumatic brain injury and visual disabilities. DCRC provides advocacy, case management, independent living skills training, housing and other support services . DCRC offers peer-to-peer support and peer-led support groups.

Provides free legal advice through phone appointments for any person with a disability. PAI also has self-help publications available on-line or by calling the toll-free hotline. Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center (FDLRC)

Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center is a private, non-profit corporation that operates under contract with California’s Department of Developmental Services. The Center serves over 9,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities, who have or are at risk for a developmental delay or disability, and who are at high-risk of parenting an infant with a disability.

Harbor Regional Center (HRC)

Harbor Regional Center serves nearly 15,000 people with developmental disabilities, and their families, who reside in the South Bay, Harbor, Long Beach, and southeast areas of Los Angeles County. Regional centers serve people of all ages with developmental disabilities and their families, infants with a significant developmental delay, high risk, or established risk for developmental disabiliy, and pregnant women who are at risk for having a child with this type of disability.

North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is one of 21 private, non-profit organizations under contract with the California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to coordinate and provide community-based services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (consumers).

South Central Los Angeles Regional Center for Developmental Disabilities, Inc. (SCLARC)

SCLARC is a private non-profit organization with over 45 years of experience serving individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and children with developmental delays. Services provided include intake, assessment, diagnosis, case management, early intervention, and life-long service coordination. SCLARC contracts with the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to provide Early Start early intervention services for children with developmental delays, or at risk for delays, under the age of 3; and to provide supportive services for individuals diagnosed with a permanent developmental disability, ages 3 and above.
