Vet Center - West Los Angeles (Veterans Outreach Program)
The Vet Center provides readjustment counseling focusing on the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as it relates to war experiences and or service in the military. Treatment goal is to assist veterans in making a satisfactory transition back to civilian life. There is counseling for sexual trauma & harassment that occurred in the service also. Individual, group, couples and family counseling is available to include employment assistance by the Employment Development Dept (EDD) representative. Referrals are available for drug and alcohol treatment, housing, medical service and VA benefits. Services are free to all eligible veterans.
