Influenced by her mother’s struggles and societal challenges like homelessness and school shootings, she ventured into mental health advocacy. Dorit is fervently dedicated to educational initiatives that bridge cultural gaps and combat the prevalent issues of modern-day loneliness, resonating with NAMI’s message, “You Are Not Alone.” As Co-President, she champions the “Ending the Silence” program, educating over 10,000 students on mental health. She has also actively participated in NAMI WLA’s annual gala events since 2016.
