About the LGBTQ+ Mental Health Peer Support Group
This LGBTQ+ peer-led support group is specifically designed to support individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning and who are facing mental health challenges. Whether you’re coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other conditions, you are not alone.
Our support group is facilitated by trained LGBTQ+ peers who have firsthand experience with mental health recovery. The group provides a non-judgmental and trauma-informed environment where participants can:
- Share personal experiences safely and confidentially.
- Learn from others who are navigating similar journeys.
- Gain emotional support, encouragement, and practical coping tools.
- Feel empowered to take steps toward healing and recovery.
This is a space where your identity is respected, your story is valid, and your mental health matters.
Accessibility and Confidentiality
- The group is free to attend and open to all LGBTQ+ adults 18 and older.
- Sessions are held via Zoom, which includes accessibility features such as live captions and screen reader support.
- Conversations are confidential, and all participants are expected to respect each other’s privacy and lived experiences.
