Statement on Monterey Park Mass Shooting

We are heartbroken by the mass murder in Monterey Park. Regardless of motive, the tragedy has shocked our community, including AAPI community members who have already faced increased racism and discrimination. NAMI sees gun violence as a national public health crisis that impacts everyone. We grieve along with our fellow citizens and community members impacted by it.
