Cornerstone Mental Health Center

○ Cornerstone RRR provides field-based services which includes a comprehensive array of mental health, intensive case management, dual diagnosis services and medication support services. The program has a milieu setting which includes laundry facilities, shower facilities, locker facilities and daily mental health groups. Cornerstone RRR provides immediate assistance to mentally ill, homeless individuals for basic survival needs including showers, light meals, laundry facilities, lockers, mail services and linkage to shelters, transitional and long term housing placements. Clients are assisted in applying for mainstream benefits, and receive medication evaluations/monitoring and individual and group counseling, as needed. Benefits Assistance Clients’ Urban Project (BACUP)

BACUP is a consumer-run mental health wellness program whose purpose is to promote recovery for people with mental illness in an environment free of stigma and full of hope. Gateways Community Reintegration Program and Conditional Release Program 

The CRP Program provides voluntary residential, daycare and outpatient treatment to men and women between the ages of 18 and 59 who have a history of mental illness and recent involvement with the criminal justice system. Disability Community Resource Center (DCRC)

Life Adjustment Team

The Life Adjustment Team was established in 1977 as a private psychiatric outpatient care service offering a practical approach to assisting people with mental illness to live independently in the community. The Team offers goal-directed wraparound case management with a staff of masters level and licensed clinicians, providing one to one support in the home, community, school and workplace.

Providence Saint John’s Child and Family Development Center

UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior – Spanish Speaking Psychosocial Clinic

Though the SSPC patient population comprises all levels of acculturation, most are primarily Spanish speaking or bilingual. Referrals come from within the UCLA Medical Center, as well as from clinics and community based agencies in the greater Los Angeles region. The outpatient clinic is staffed by culturally competent, bilingual mental health professionals within the disciplines of psychiatry, psychology and social work who have extensive knowledge of Latino cultural issues related to immigration, acculturation, ethnicity, class, socioeconomic status, language, cultural practices, traditions and beliefs that impact the psychological functioning of Latino individuals and families.
