NAMI Westside Los Angeles, in partnership with NAMI California and NAMI National, invites you to a special one-night benefit performance and reception supporting mental health awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month.
The evening features THIS IS CRAZY!, a new theatrical production written and directed by V (formerly Eve Ensler). Through a series of powerful original monologues, the performance explores the complex relationship between mental illness and the human experience.
Following the performance, guests will attend The Legacy Reception honoring Chris Huvane, bringing together supporters, advocates, and community leaders committed to advancing mental health awareness.
THIS IS CRAZY!
Written and directed by V (formerly Eve Ensler), the Tony and Obie award-winning playwright and author best known for The Vagina Monologues, the work examines mental health through deeply personal storytelling. Each monologue offers an honest and intimate perspective on the emotional and social realities of mental illness. The production invites audiences to engage with the human stories behind mental health challenges while encouraging empathy, understanding, and conversation. The show will premiere in New York City and Los Angeles, launching a broader cultural dialogue around mental health.
