Please join us for our next Janis Black Warner Speaker Series installment on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, to hear new insights into the neurobiology of schizophrenia from Dr. Daniel Eisenberg, Medical Director of the Psychotic Disorders Service and the Inpatient Clinical Research Unit for the Clinical and Translational Neuroscience Branch of the National Institute of Mental Health’s Intramural Research Program (NIMH IRP).

Dr. Daniel Eisenberg graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Sc.B. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University, earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, received his residency training in psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center, NY, where he also served as Chief Resident, and completed a clinical research fellowship at the National Institute of Mental Health Intramural Program in the Section on Integrative Neuroimaging of the Clinical Brain Disorders Branch. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Psychotic Disorders Service and the Inpatient Clinical Research Unit for the Clinical and Translational Neuroscience Branch of the NIMH IRP.  His research uses multimodal neuroimaging techniques to understand neurochemical and neurofunctional bases of psychiatric illness, treatment, and illness genetic risk, with a focus on schizophrenia.
