Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services

Didi Hirsch pioneered many of the support group models for people affected by suicide that are in use around the nation and world. Because no one understands the pain of losing someone to suicide like other survivors, Didi Hirsch’s Bereavement groups for adults and teens are co-facilitated by a clinician and a peer who has successfully completed the program.

MISS Foundation

The MISS Foundation is a 501 (c) 3, volunteer based organization committed to providing crisis and long term support to families after the death of a baby or child. The MISS Foundation also participates in legislative and advocacy issues, community engagement and volunteerism, and culturally competent, multidisciplinary, education opportunities. We are the originators of the Kindness Project, which began in 1997 by our founder, Dr. Joanne Cacciatore.

Our House Grief Support Center

Provides compassionate Grief Support Groups in a safe, warm environment for children, adolescents and adults, who have experienced the death of someone close. Also provides Adult Grief Support Groups in Spanish and On-Site Grief Response in schools, businesses and organizations after the death of a co-worker, student, family member or colleague. All groups are appropriate to age and relationship. OUR HOUSE provides grief support groups in local school districts and offers an education program for medical students, clergy students, educators, businesses, and mental health professionals. The agency is available for professional and community education and support. Camp Erin LA and Orange County- bereavement camp for children aged 6-17.
