Our community means everything to us, and we hope you are safe and healthy. After reviewing the state’s order and updated policy around the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic issued by the California Department of Public Health, the NAMI Westside Los Angeles board and leadership team has decided that we need to temporarily halt support groups, classes, outside presentations, and outreach events through the end of March. This difficult decision was made to protect the health of our employees, clients, participants, volunteers, community partners, and the greater public. We will reassess the public health situation at the end of March and will keep you posted when our community partners reopen their locations and we are assured it is safe for us to resume these vital services. In the meantime, we will look into the possibility of offering virtual support groups.
