The NAMI Peer-to-Peer class is a free class for those living with mental health conditions. The 16-hour, 8-week class is taught in a progressive manner by a team of trained mentors who have personal experience living well with their mental health conditions. This class is for adults (18+) with mental health conditions who are looking to better understand themselves and their recovery. Each class will examine another aspect of living with a mental health condition and lead into the next lesson in a logical fashion.

Feedback from Peer-to-Peer Participants

“My challenge with mental illness has gotten easier through my own challenges, whether that be with people or in all aspects of life. Growth is key and it starts with a simple thought of being one with your own self as you get to know who you are. I recently finished a class with NAMI, and it has helped me understand my trials and tribulations. I was able to gain key awareness in regards to my mental illness. Interactions with other students and hands-on assignments enabled me to grasp this recovery process. I am grateful for NAMI and the kindness they have shown from their heart. It’s a terrific organization.”
