Expanding NAMI on Campus
By Britt Turpack
Calling all students! We are expanding the NAMI on Campus program. I’m your NAMI WLA point person to help you bring the program to your school!
Are you passionate about ending mental health stigma? Do you want to support fellow students and make a difference on your campus? Let’s work together to bring NAMI on Campus to your school!
By creating a mental health and wellness club started on your campus and hosting NAMI events, you can create a supportive environment that promotes mental wellness, encourages open conversations, and provides vital resources to your peers.
Now more than ever, our campuses need strong, compassionate leaders like you to step up as mental health advocates. By getting involved with NAMI on Campus, you have the unique opportunity to lead the charge in breaking down stigma, fostering resilience, and creating a community where everyone feels seen and supported. Your voice matters, and your leadership can spark real positive change!
We work to support NAMI on Campus Club leaders with their plans to present engaging workshops, peer-led support groups, and educational sessions tailored to the unique needs of college students at your school.
Don’t wait for change—BE the change. Reach out to us today to learn how you can get started with NAMI on your campus this fall. Together, we can help destigmatize the conversation around mental health and build a healthier, more compassionate student community. Email bturpack@namila.org to find out more.
