Al-Anon and Ala-Teen

The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength, and hope, in order to solve their common problems and Ala-teen groups are teens who are relatives and friends of alcoholics. We believe alcoholism is a family illness, and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organization, or institution; does not engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any cause. There are no dues for membership. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions.

Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. Clare|Matrix

CLARE|MATRIX is a nonprofit organization providing compassionate treatment and recovery services for alcoholism and substance abuse to individuals, families, and the community. CLARE|MATRIX offers affordable residential and outpatient treatment programs administered in a caring and sober community to help those facing drug and alcohol addiction recover their lives. Outpatient Services include evidence-based morning and evening Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Programs with individual, group, and family counseling sessions for adults ages 18 and over, Partial Hospitalization Program, and weekly outpatient treatment and case management. CLARE|MATRIX also has programs for clinically observed detoxification, up to 90 days of residential treatment, a pregnant and postpartum women program, psychiatry, 12 step meetings, career readiness training, sober living, couples/family counseling, and employment assistance.

Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (LACADA)

L.A. CADA offers critical services across a wide continuum of care and treatment, including outpatient, intensive outpatient and residential programs. This full continuum of addiction care is available for men and women, ages 18 and over. Services to adolescents, ages 12–17, in an outpatient setting are also available.

Narcotics Anonymous

NA is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs have become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. Sober Living Network

Sober living homes are affordable, alcohol and drug free recovery support housing providing positive environments that facilitate peer group recovery support. Sober housing promotes individual recovery by providing healthy and sober environments that allow residents to develop individual recovery programs and become self-supporting. Social Model Recovery Systems

Social Model Recovery Systems, Inc. has been a pioneer in providing adult treatment services since 1986. Three of the four adult programs address both mental health and substance use issues simultaneously; these co-occurring disorders present unique challenges that can be met and treated successfully. We offer a continuum of care from residential treatment at River Community to the support of the Wellness Center. Day treatment, partial day treatment and outpatient services for those with co-occurring disorders are available at River Community Covina. Outpatient services for substance abuse or mental health issues are available at Pasadena Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence; outpatient services for substance abuse only are provided at Mid Valley Outpatient. Residential substance abuse treatment services for women and women with children are provided at Mariposa as well as Stepping Stones; residential services for men are provided at Omni Center and Royal Palms; residential substance abuse treatment services for women and men are provided at Bimini and Rena B.
